The stock component has a notorious tendency to fail at the connection between the stem and the paddle, leaving riders with significantly reduced power in the mid to top range and, often, stranded.
Nihilo's engineers meticulously investigated this problem and devised a definitive solution. Drawing inspiration from their highly successful KTM 50 Clutch bolt system, they've applied the same proven technology. Many riders are familiar with how the Nihilo stud and nut system effectively prevented the stock clutch bolts from breaking.
The new Nihilo Concepts KTM 65 Power Valve incorporates this very technology. They have eliminated the aluminium threaded portion of the paddle and replaced it with a hardened steel stud to securely attach the shaft to the paddle.
